A pair of ear pendants of stacked beads hung fom an 18k openworked top. The gemstones options are blue chalcedony, green malachite, white onyx and rose quarts.
The stacked beads are a reference to the clay watervessels, bhavia, that are stacked and carried over long distances by the women of the rural parts of Rajasthan and Gujarat, India. The collection comprises of gold earrings, bracelets and rings in softer, undulating lines, not only using gemstones but also enamelling techniques.
“The leading designs themes are graphic translations of flowers and water jugs, so typical for India. Colors 2019 is illustrative of the journey we started unknowingly in 2007, but that has been the launching pad for our Contemporary Collections.”
